Summer Breeze
“Summer Breeze”… makes me feel fine, blowin’ through the Jasmine in my mind. Soaking in the warmth and peace of a calm summer day, the iconic lyrics playing in the background as I happened to see a majestic V-formation of pelicans approaching. An ever-vigilant photographer (not) I grabbed the trusty Canon 40D laying beside me. The image I took conveyed, to me at least, the essence of the moment, the salty, coconut-scented air, the tropical breeze carried on the rhythmic sound-massage of the waves. This piece takes me back to that day on the shore, and the joy of being away from the stress of everyday life. After all, isn’t that the whole point?
